Business startups in Mbarara and Uganda at large still struggle to live beyond the first year of establishment due to limited access to affordable finance, appropriate technology, quality assurance & affordable product certification services, business development infrastructural facilities, markets and business promotion services and the dominant informality, inadequate technical and business skills.

It is from the above background that Empower Youth in Technology (EYIT) is launching a campain to raise $10,000 to support the growth and sustainability of 100 business startups every year from Mbarara District. This wil be achieved through provision of business startups with business incubation services, affordable financing, access to affordable technologies, market access and business promotion services.
