I am inviting you to be part of this creative work "The Silent Witnesses" a book project that tells how an investigative journalist, a freelance travel and life style photographer through his journalistic mission unmasked the plight of children battling Nodding Syndrome in Northern Uganda's districts of Kitgum, Pader and Omoro.

Here, an estimated 3,000 children are battling with this little known disease whose real cause and cure is still a mystery. Nodding Syndrome, a disease that has baffled entomologist worldwide has continued to wreak havoc in our community. Over300 children have nodded their way into their early graves in outright silence.

The voice of the remaining suffering children, survivors, parents, guardians and the community roars on but with little/no hope. Through the silent witness, you will be able to read exclusive on ground stories of pain, sorrow and agony. A scan through government and private interventions, impediments and resilience of the community in dealing with the situation as documented by Pat Robert Larubi in his first literal work in a global call for action.
