​West Nile region, a place located in Northwestern Uganda is a place that has faced lots marginalization in as far as equal development opportunities are concerned. The area in question is also one of the highest refugee hosting community within Uganda due to the ongoing conflict in South Sudan which is just across the border.
The water in this place we are talking about has become a huge problem with the high influx of refugees hence rendering the little water services to the locals insufficient or unsustainable, this led us to seek solutions not only from within the borders of Uganda but across the globe which is full of helping and loving people all around.
This project aims to provide clean drinking water to over 10,000 people within and around the community we intend to assist. If we manage to raise more money than we intended for this first phase of building boreholes and protected springs, we shall continue to support more communities that are facing the same challenge as the people in Yumbe and neighboring districts.
It is hard to imagine a world or community that doesn't have access to clean water anywhere around the world, and it is with this in mind that we set out on a journey to make sure that since water is a human right, then we should be the ones to help fellow humans get out of what we can call 'Living in Hell'.
