It’s a fully registered Community Based Organization under Kampala Capital City Authorities regulations (KCCA) established in 2000 located in Nakamiro Zone Bwaise II Ward, Kawempe Division Kampala city Uganda. With the current Covid-19 Pandemic, many families have been left without proper support to some basic neccessities. Under Agali Awamu Disabled and Vulnerable Persons Organisation many disabled persons have approached our organisation ask for support as we usually did before the lock down situation.
Because of the overwhelming numbers of people who have reached us for Pads. We therefore have revived our initiative to provide persons with disabilities pads to as many people as possible.

Our current projects
continuously frontlined giving support services to people with disabilities in all their categories which range from providing assistive devices like wheel chairs, clutches, white canes for the blind providing food supplements to children with disabilities rich in Vitamins, food donations to the elderly, counselling, farming majorly in poultry farming, Awareness campaigns, Albino support services like giving out sun screens, community out reaches and so many others.
We are running a poultry project for boilers, tailoring and design, liquid soap making, carpentry and welding. All these have been possible due to our growing capacity in equipment and community support i.e. we recently acquired machines from Work Aid UK and others from Amref in 2018 which we use to teach people with disabilities all the vocational skills they choose at a free cost at our premises in Nakamiro Zone Bwaise II.
