Dorcus Elderly & Needy Project (Doren Project) is a Community Based Organization (CBO) founded in 2019 in Masaka district to cater for the rehabilitation of people with disabilities especially children between the age of 0-18 years and youths of 20-30 years and elderly of 70 and above all with disabilities.
Currently, our Organization is caring for 64 children with disabilities, 46 youths and 12 elderly men and 28 women with disabilities. Livable Future was established with the prime objective of rehabilitating people with disabilities through the following programs;

1. Provision of services for the rehabilitation of children with disabilities.
2. Extension of supportive devices, services and tools to children with disabilities like wheel chairs, walking sticks and clutches, glasses and the like.
3. Implementation of community Based Rehabilitation program (C.B.R) towards people with disabilities through the following;

1. Qualitative service delivery for people with disabilities (PWDS)
2. Extension of medical care and health services to them.
3. Extension of counseling services to support them in the process of rehabilitating them in their different localities.
4. Extension of basic needs to those with disabilities for example; food clothing, housing, education and medical care.

The tree plantation project for people with disabilities will be on 50 acres of land already secured by Dorcus Elderly & Needy Project to cater for the sustainability of the Organization.
The total project cost is 33,750,000/= and the local community has so far raised 2,226,097/= as local contribution towards the project.
We appeal to you to help us with a funds worth 33,750,000/= to facilitate us implement the project to sustain our efforts towards the rehabilitation of 150 people with disability especially the children, youths and the elderly men and women
