RESTORING HOPE: SUPPORT VULNERABLE COMMUNITIES IN UGANDA
The Covid-19 pandemic left many households in the shanty communities worse than before. Many households were socially and economically affected. Families also lost their loved ones while many young girls were forced into sexual acts and early marriages to fend for the needs of their families.
Today, most households, especially in the shanty communities, can barely afford scholastic materials, menstrual hygiene products and a meal causing malnutrition among children as well as increased their vulnerability.
It’s for that reason that Right Path requests well-wishers for support to those affected in the form of
scholastic materials, menstrual hygiene management products, food, and financial donations.
WHAT WILL YOUR DONATION SUPPORT?
The Restoration of Hope Campaign aims at collectively aiding vulnerable children to go back to school and let them enjoy their childhood in the communities they call home, providing the girl child menstrual hygiene management products, and supporting marginalized households to improve their livelihoods.
The campaign targets the impoverished communities of Kitovu, Makenke, Sakabusolo and
Kimaka along the shores of Lake Victoria in Jinja and Imanyiro in Mayuge District.
