Nansubuga Brenda aged 28 years old went into preterm labour and was rushed to Kawempe Women's Hospital where she went through a C- section, the baby was born at 6 months. After few days she was discharged but her stomach started swelling, she was rushed to Mengo Hospital and it was found out that her intestines were damaged during the initial operation, she was reoperated to repair them and after the surgery she was taken to intensive care unit for over a week and that is what accumulated the huge bill which they have failed to clear now. She has been held in Mengo Hospital for a week and some days. The family tried to raise some money but could not raise the whole amount. Brenda is under the care of her mother as she lost her father when was young. The husband is financially strained and he is also taking care of their premature baby that was separated from the mother since she could manage looking after the baby.
