Kyambadde Gabriel Briton is a 4 year old recently diagnosed with two heart defects; ostium primum atrial septal defect and a mitral valve cleft complicated by right sided heart dilatation, tricuspid and mitral regurgitation, pulmonary arterial hypertension, incomplete right bundle branch block with an impending liver and kidney failure.
He requires urgent open heart sugery from India to have the defects corrected and prevent total organ failure.
If corrective surgery is not done urgently, Gebriel stands to complicate with heart, liver, and kidney failure. Gabriel is currently attending cardiology clinic from Nsambya Hospital
The parents have no capacity to meet the cost of the surgery.
