A jounrey of over 10 weeks has led us to the birth of 10 businesses worth funding designed by the adolescent girls.
The weekly support meetings and trainings have realized change among the different clusters and the pregnancy crisis shelter managers recommend continued support for more girls.
Under Remnant Generation, community outreaches have been scheduled to impact 10 villages around Busega area. These outreaches will help reach atleast 100 more adolescent girls at risk of marriage, teenage pregnancy or already young mothers. Key issues to cover include;
1. Hold dialogues on Violence against women and girls and the support structures to utilize when in need of services or information
2. Cover reproductive health and rights particularly menstrual health management, HIV/AIDS (ending stigma and discrimination )
3. Build support circles to keep girls safe, healthy and Empowered
