As the COVID-19 lockdown continues to bite, many teenage mothers and their children are sleeping on angry stomachs and your help is their only hope.
We are Girl Child Initiative Uganda (GCIU) a community based organisation in Kabaganda in Wakiso district. We champion the right to education of children especially girls as well as taking care of thier basic necessities.
For the past days of the lockdown in the country (Uganda), we have received numerous calls for help from our members and those close to us who indeed need food relief to push them through the remaining days of the lockdown.
These most of whom are teenage mothers and single mothers who have been surviving on 'Hand to Mouth' and their source of meager incomes were closed down by the lockdown. Just imagine what these young mothers are going through to ensure that they survive for the 49 days of the lockdown (which might be extended) as well as their children.
We have tried to reach out to some with the little we have but there is still more need to help.
You can help save a life today as well as restoring someone's hope for a better future with the little contribution you have.

Your shilling, dollar, cent can put a smile on someone's face today.
"A generous person will prosper, He who refreshes others shall himself be refreshed by God," Proverbs 11:25
God Bless You for the Kind heart.
