We are looking at helping the vulnerable in the community by providing them with basic needs Many of you my friends I have reached out in your inbox have demanded t know my true identity and why I decided to come up with such a charity organization.

Well here I am. My name is Luyima Yosam a teacher by professional. Am a Ugandan aged 31 years. I grew up from a poor family of 8 but my mother managed to raise only 5 coz the three died because of what I would attribute to poverty coz my mother didn't have money to get better medication for them when they got sick. Its this background that inspired me. I always said to my self and my friends that when I grow up I will build a big house and put there all children and look after them I don't want them to suffer like me. When I bought Land in the Village my friends called me Mad little did they know I had a dream.

Currently we have put a two rooms which accommodate 20 children and a small garden. We are not giving them the best because of limited resources. Being a teacher I want to put up for them a good school where they can get free Education give them good medical facilities and good accommodation. Currently the heavy rains have destroyed our food in the Garden but we believe the Lord is yet to provide.

At Helping Hand Uganda we don't only give a hand of help to the needy but God has also helped us to start small scale poultry farming aimed at giving skills to our children that later in future some can take it up as a job and employ others or get income to assist those in need.


After five months we expect to get eggs which will be sold to get part of the income to support our charity and also some shall be used as food(proteins) coz most of the children we get are Malnourished. The journey seems not to be easy via looking after the birds for five months but we always believe in God the provider.
