This Campaign is geared towards a community cause to save Lake Wamala that is receding and has many moving Islands.
Lake Wamala is believed to be one of a few setelight Lakes that feed into Lake Victoria. It is under threat due to encroachment and poor wetland management that has caused the water levels to shrink and created the movement of small Islands on the Lake.

We are calling out for support to reclaim the buffer zones of 200 meters by planting indigenous trees and fruit trees as a buffer zone, but also create a cycling path within the natural forest restoration area.
