Hope beyond boundaries Elderly Foundation is a community based organization in uganda aiming at helping the needy elderly people in the community. The care for elderly people in Uganda is solely the responsibility of the family. It is expected that children should be the ones to take care of their parents once they start getting old and so has been the practice that the support for the elderly people has always been from their immediate families. However ,the pandemic has affected both the formal and informal sector and this has brought about loss of jobs and income earning activities for most of the community members thus cutting off even the little support that was given to the elderly.

We are seeking to help the elderly with relief items like food,soap ,beddings and other household needs. We will be grateful if you will join with us in reaching those that now need us the most. We do guarantee that the donations will directly reach the beneficiaries and we will be glad to report on what we have been able to achieve together. Your help is highly appreciated.

Below is a breakdown of how much it costs to feed one home of an elderly person .
1. A bag of 10kgs of posho -30000(8$)
2. 3 bars of soap - 24000(7$)
3. 10kgs of beans - 30000(8$)
4. A dozen of toilet rolls 10000(3$)
These items can be able to sustain the family for atleast two weeks
