This an annual community environment awareness campaign that is geared towards sensitizing communities in Uganda and across the world, to best conserve and protect the environment.
It is held each year in the third week of July as a climax event with the Entebbe Race - Save the Planet. The purpose of this campaign to engage each stakeholder in the fight against environmental degradation. Climate Change is real and there is only one planet we all need to take personal responsibility to save.
We begin with schools go Green campaigns in February, to Community General Cleaning by all stakeholders at their localities and places of work or residence and we also hold breakfast meetings to engage the Private sector participation as we gear towards the race. 5km/ 10km/ 21 km race around Entebbe with mapped out routes.
